Amanda: Sunburn??
So I totally thought that I had a sunburn on my legs from wearing capris because they're are red just above the ankles but only for a few inches. Only now have I realized that it's been a couple weeks now and it's not going away - and I haven't been wearing capris. Must be some weird pregnancy thing. Only 4-5 more weeks !!!!!

I know someone that got a rash on her stomach and back during her pregnancy, but can't say I've heard of someone getting red legs. That's a new one to me. Being pregnant can do some wacky stuff to your body. Can't wait to see pics of your little one in a few weeks! I keep meaning to call you. When is a good time?
Anytime!! I'll be gone today, but should be around all day Thursday and Friday. I've just been sitting around, I haven't felt tired really my whole pregnancy until this last month. I can't seem to get myself motivated to do anything!!
This is in response to the breast pump question forever ago. I have a medela single pump automatic. And love it. It's perfect for pumping bottles for babysitters and church, because let's face it, you'll get tired of wearing nursing clothes to church---all I wanted was to wear a DRESS!
Cool! I'll give ya a ring later this week.
This is the one that I have. Andrew got it for free from a work lactation program.

I can't believe you are so close Amanda!!! I SOOOOOO wish I could've seen you.
The Medela single hand pump is awesome for on the go. I also have a Ameda double electric breast pump. I exclusively pump, and this works great!
This probably sounds weird, but I think I'm more nervous about breastfeeding and pumping then actually giving birth.
Yes, it can be devastatingly painful for the first couple of weeks, but its definitely worth it. There's nothing like looking down and seeing your baby's eyes stare up at you.
It's almost as rewarding as your kid taking off her swimsuit, hanging it up in the bathroom, and changing into dry clothes ALL without being asked. Growing up is pretty nice too. :)
And just for the record, I really enjoyed the giving birth part. Very interesting. Of course, there were drugs involved.
Both of my labors were relatively boring. But the epidurals held a big part in that. I am very much pro drugs! Honestly, the worst part about labor and delivery for me were the needles. I'll push out a baby no problem, but I cry when I have to get the iv.
Ditto!!! L/D were stinkin' easy! I could do that again. The recovery was no fun at all. That was more than I expected. Amanda, ask if there is any way not to get an episiotomy....seriously! And I found breastfeeding really difficult, but some woman in my ward found it ridiculously easy...and she's kind of a wuss. Everyone is different. Don't let anyone give you a hard time. Once this lactation consultant made me cry. Just find what makes you happy.
It's a good thing I have a team of experts right here :) Can I just say how much I love this blog !!! - well, when we all actually stay up on it :)
