Court

Carson started preschool today and just like when he started nursery, he walked in and didn't look back. At his school, the teachers meet you outside and take your kids out of the car and walk them in. Which is probably good for the emotional parents, like me, who would never let their kids go. 1 more hour and I can go get him. Not sure if I'll be able to take him back on Monday.

Funny story. Yesterday we went to the zoo and I was waiting outside the bathrooms for Carson and Andrew. There was this Asian family over to my left with a little boy probably around Carson's age. Anyway, the mom was holding this white bucket thing that looked like the bucket thing in a potty seat, that you dump out after your kid has done his business. Then I see them take their little boy, turn him around, undo his pants, and the kid pees in the bucket...then the mom took it into the bathroom and disposed of it. First off, that is just the strangest thing I have ever seen! But would it have been hard to take the boy into the bathrooms and have him pee in there instead of out in the middle of the zoo?

So maybe I'm just a bad mom, but I love that JJ goes to school. I wish Zoe went too for a couple days a week. I'm awful aren't I?

And....gross.

When I babysat those 4 kids for 11 days I always wished school was just a little bit longer. You're not a bad mother at all - when else do you get a break???

Yuck! Hope they don't do that everywhere!
