Funny story

So we tend to Skype Andrew's parents every so often. Well today was one of those days. I stayed out of the office since I am so sick and am coughing like crazy. When they were done, Andrew logged out of Skype, turned off the camcorder and we ate dinner. My dad called while we were eating, so I called him back when we were done. I came up to the office to talk to him and after I got off the phone, I started having a coughing spell. Well somehow skype wasn't turned off or something because next thing I knew, Andrew's mom was calling us and saying that she could hear my coughing through their computer. I'm sure by then the whole fam was there for Sunday dinner too. Lovely.

So the moral of the story is: if you are ever webcamming, make sure you disconnect EVERYTHING when you are done. Don't just assume that shutting down the program and turning off the camera will suffice.
