So I haven't written in awhile. I thought I would let you know what I am up too. I like reading your blogs. It is kind of mixed emotions for me to read your blogs. I love all your kids. The cute things they do. I am so glad to see you guys so happy. You are all amazing moms. You do so much. It is a little hard for me to look at them because I want that too.
Well this year started off with wrecking me car (Actually it was end of December). I think some of you knew that I did that. It was a snowy day and I couldn't stop. So my car was in the shop. A deductible later I have a pretty car again.
Around New Years I got a terrible migraine. I missed a weeks worth of work. (Which sucks because vacation days and sick days are the same and I only get 2.5 weeks.) I ended up in the ER. I also had 3 shots on 3 different days to try and fight this terrible migraine. The shots and the ER didn't help. My doctor was at a loss of what to do. I got an MRI and things looked fine. It only cost $1800 to tell me that. I tried physical therapy and this machine that my company makes and the migraine finally broke. It was one of the worse migraines I have ever had.
2 days after the migraine broke I went in for eye surgery. I couldn't get lasix so I got lens implants. The surgery went fine. Only missed a day of work. I can see great. Night vision is a little bit different but I can still drive at night.
So I had a really expensive January. Work is fine. I like my job. Other than my ex-boyfriend is a jerk to me. It sucks to see him everyday at work. Plus he just informed me he is getting married.
I have a new roommate that I really like. She took the place of the one roommate that didn't like me. So it is nice to have a change. She is so sweet and it has made coming home so much better.
I am not dating anyone. It is hard to find descent boys at this age.
That is my update. Sorry it was long. Please pray for me. I am in need of prayers.

Oh Emily, I'm sorry to hear about all of that. Except the eye surgery...I'm glad it went well!! I sure will keep you in my prayers. You are just so amazing. For real!!

I'm super jealous that you got eye surgery! I would love to be rid of contacts for good. I had a dream last night that you bought a townhome in my neighborhood and I was so excited to have a friend living so close! I hear the DC job market is pretty sweet. :-) Andrew has a coworker who's LDS and single. His name is also Andrew. His last girlfriend lived in Utah. He flew back quite a bit to visit her. I can always pass on your number to him if you want. :-)
I'm sorry you're having such a rough time Em. It doesn't seem fair. Sometimes things get worse right before they get better.
