Regency flashback

Do you remember Mark Jennings from our sophomore year ward? He was the boy from Georgia with a southern accent. He was one of Mark's roommates.

Anyway, he's moved to Augusta. He owns a bunch of Little Ceasars out here. We went over to his house the other day to watch the BYU game. He has three kids and a HUGE house. Sigh. I have three kids and a little house. But I can't keep the little one clean so I guess it's good I don't have a big one. :)

Life's crazy with three. I don't know how you're doing it Squirt but I'm really struggling. It's hard having an Elementary school aged kid who has to do homework each night and is up later (8ish) then having a baby who wakes up at night, then having to get all three kids ready in the morning for school, which starts at 8:30am and doesn't get over til 3! Kindergarten! I can't wait for summer! Anyway, just harder to find time for myself.

We find out next Thursday where we'll be doing residency at. It basically doctor training. Mark will be a dr in May, but he has to complete full training in his specialized field. He applied to both ENT programs and Pediatric programs. The ENT is 5 years and the Peds is 3. Both require a fellowship (further specialized training) after residency. For ENTs its 2 years and Peds is 3, so there really isn't a difference between the two when you add it all up. Except that Mark really wants to do ENT. We applied all over, but only got interviews at a few places. The options are:

ENT:
staying here
Chapel Hill, NC
Buffalo, NY
Rochester, NY
Burlington, VT
Seattle, WA
Irvine, CA

PEDS:
SLC, UT
NYC
Nashville, TN

I can't decide what I want. It would be easiest to stay here (thinking about moving all our crap makes me want to cry) but I'd love to be closer to family (and friends) and am ready for a change. Not that it matters what I think because it's which school wants Mark.

Anyway, that's my update. Would love to get everyone elses' updates too. Feel like I'm kind of out of the loop.

I've been to Chapel Hill, NC and it's a beautiful place! Plus it's closer to me, so I vote for that. :-)

I still don't see Oklahoma City on your list. Seriously, is it just coincidence that you keep forgetting to write it down? ;)
It is always nice for a change. And closer family would be awesome! I hope wherever you go, you love it! Even if you stay.
