coupons

Have you guys seen that show on TLC about extreme couponing?  In an effort to save money, I've been trying to use coupons more.  There's no way I could be as extreme as those people on that show.  At most I can dedicate maybe 30 minutes a week looking for deals online versus the 40+ hours that they work on it.  I've been impressed with how many coupons you can find online.  My favorites are couponmom.com, grocerycartcoupons.com, and kelloggs.com.  The easiest coupons to find are for cereal and diapers.  A lot of these websites have the same coupons, so you can end up getting like 5 or 6 of them.  I've also been keeping track of how much money I've saved by using coupons.  Last month I saved $87 using coupons and store cards.  Not too shabby for a beginner.  I'm going to see if I can beat that this month.  Also, if you use the online coupons, most websites add new coupons on the first business day of every month.  So make sure you check back at the beginning of the month.  So if you guys see any awesome deals, let me know!  :-)

I put my challenge to the test and got $127.40 worth of groceries for $72.94. Oh yeah!
