It means nothing, what the drs. say. They can't predict anything even with dilating. You can be dilated at a 4 and 50% effaced for 3 weeks (my sister-in-law) and you can be nothing (me) and go into labor in 6 days from your appt. So don't give up hope.
I had a friend who dilated to a 7 and still didn't go into labor. When pregnant with Abby, she dropped so low that if she had dropped anymore she would have made her presence known, but I still didn't go into labor. Don't let the doctor get you down. You are only at 35 weeks. My sister in law Brittany's due date is today and her baby still hasn't dropped. Every pregnancy is different. Doctor's know jack about when you will go into labor.
I can so relate. I cried at my last dr. appointment because I hadn't changed much and I was SO uncomfortable. We also went bowling after one of them to see if that would help. It didn't. One day my sister called when they still hadn't come and she said "how are you feeling- Angry?" I said YES! So- Anyway, I agree with the girls, but I understand the frustration and having to wait STINKS!!!

What happened at the Dr? Did he tell you you'd be pregnant for three more months?
No, just that there was no sign of the baby wanting to come. Not in those words...just a zero on every scale. :( Except the weight scale. :)
