Amanda: New Landlord
So my brother Tim just bought the duplex that we live in from my dad last week. So Tim is my official new landlord. Isn't that crazy?? He's moving in to the basement. Sorry to hear about your noisy neighbor Court - Clark and I are lucky that we live in the upstairs and can't hear anyone who lives downstairs really. Except for when they take a shower - it sounds like a jet. When we first moved in our neighbors downstairs turned the shower on and I went into my own bathroom because I thought someone turned our shower on it was so loud. The joys of sharing walls:)

How goes the house hunting?
We actually put an offer on a house a couple weeks ago! It's further West then we want to be, but it's a nice house for our price range. However, it's a short sale and so the bank could sit on it forever. We did hear however that ours is currently the only offer they are considering. Hopefully we'll hear back soon!
My brother and his wife got a house in Lindon from a short sale. They had to wait for almost six month--living in her grandparents apartment (Amy) but they finally got the house and its awesome! They never would have been able to afford it if it hadn't been a shortsale. Good luck!
