Just a hi.

So I canned this year! I have wanted to can for at least 4 of the five years I have been married but due to teaching, pregnancy, and moving it just never worked. So this year I have been canning like mad.

My mom and I have done it together for the most part. We have done applesauce, salsa, peaches, apple pie filling, frozen peaches for pies, I did pizza sauce, and am now drying apples. I would live to do some pear leather too. We'll see if I get around to it. We have also frozen a lot of squash from our garden, and have eaten tons too:) This is the best part of gardening to me. I am so lucky that I have been able to do all of this with my mom. I have been totally spoiled.
